Volunteers

Observers — block out your calendar! The premier national trial event of the year runs 30 observed sections each day, and we need 30 observers and 30 score punchers for each day of the two-day event.

What You Get

When

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026 at Talbot Rd, York WA. Volunteer for one day or both — every set of eyes helps.

Event management is seeking expressions of interest from volunteers now. Contact the WA Nationals committee and let them know which day(s) you can help with.

Schedule

• Gates Open - 7:00 AM
• Sign-On - 7:30 AM
• Scorecard Punchers Training - 7:50am
• Observers Briefing - 8:00 AM
• Competition Starts - 9:00 AM (Sat) 8:45 AM (Sun)
• Lunch Uber-eats deliveries will start approx 12:00 midday
• Riding Finishes - 4:30 PM

Should you need a toilet break during the day, there will be a couple of Roaming Observers on trials bikes moving around the trial who can substitute in for you to give you a break opportunity...........keep an eye out for them

At the Sign-on

Remember to collect your

• Hi-viz vest
• Support cash $
• Stopwatch (Observers)
• Card punch tool (Punchers)

Please arrive as early as possible to Sign-on as we have around x60 persons each day to get signed-on and distribute items to.........IT WILL BE VERY BUSY

Sign-on will be in the large Marquee tent

Training and Briefing will be at the AJS Trials Club Quickshade near by

If you are in the York area or visiting the trial venue you can also come and sign-on between 10AM and 4PM and collect your items for the next day
